I consider this blog to be an outlet for my experience during this journey on Earth - specifically as it relates to holistic beauty of course - mainly skincare, since I'm on the path of becoming a certified Esthetician in GA & SC (If you're in or near the CSRA, I would LOVE to have you as a client once I'm on board and ready to go).
To me, skincare is holistic. If you're unfamiliar with what holistic actually means, look it up - just kidding 😂
To keep it simple, holistic pretty much means whole. For example, if you want healthy, youthful, radiant skin, it would be a good idea to make sure you're healthy from the inside out - not only meaning diet wise because YES that is important, but mentally and spiritually too. If you feel stressed and burnt out, it won't be long before it shows on your face...and that my friend is not cute. Stress causes so many issues. Not to sound superficial, but that's honestly my driving factor in keeping cool - I do NOT want to look twice my age honey! I'm 29 and I always get comments about how I look like I'm in my early 20's and I love it, however, my life hasn't been easy.. especially leading in to my late 20's. It was a whole circus show that I'll let y'all in on a little later down the road.
In the meantime, make yourself comfortable - get your wine, snacks, and whatever you use to jot information down 😍 because I will be giving y'all literally ALL my tea. Btw, I won't strictly be talking about skincare, I'll be digging deeper into astrology analyzing my chart and aspects (maybe even some beauty influencers and celebs), spirituality .. because I'm going through changes baby, my continuous knowledge of the properties and powers of herbs (yes I'm a PROUD witch, a good one. Enough with the stigma), my rituals and routines, life updates, and much more!
