Hey lovelies,
It has been such a beautiful journey since creating this blog 2 years ago. As 2024 ends, I wanted to give an in depth recap of how my year went - seeing as how I've been sort of inconsistent with blogging. There have been so many changes in my life this year, but by the grace of God I am still standing and better than ever. Lord knows all the trials and tribulations I've had to face this year and I am so proud of me.
First things first, I started this year off with my cousin Raven - we brought the new year in together coloring, drinking wine, and eating grapes. We wanted to participate in that TikTok trend that went viral around this time last year, but we felt that getting under the table to eat the grapes would be too much - especially if it didn't produce tangible results lol. Needless to say, we ate the grapes on the couch while having girl talk.
Some of the things I'd hoped that eating the grapes would bring me was traveling more, more money, a positive love life, and more beauty - and actually now that I'm thinking about it, all of those things came true. Although I'm single at the moment, there was a time period where I was ready to be locked down lol and thankfully that situation ended. I made more money than I ever have thus far (received two raises and plenty of gifts), I lost weight - well my weight fluctuates, but I'm pretty satisfied with my body right now, and I finally got my passport and went on a cruise to the Bahamas. I am truly thankful for all this year has shown me, and I'm excited for next year! Success is on the horizon.. technically, it's already here ✨
I hate abandoning my blog, especially because writing makes me happy. Life has just been a little overwhelming and busy; but I have some exciting new endeavors on the way and I can't wait to update my readers.
